Appointed to the Board of Directors effective December 18, 2006 Ms. Barker is a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee of Canada Media Fund and also serves as a trustee and Chair of the Audit Committee of Lanesborough REIT. She was President of Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. (MTS) from 2004 until her retirement in February 2006. Ms. Barker’s career at MTS spanned 19 years, during which she served in a variety of key positions, including President and COO of MTS Communications Inc.; Chair, President and CEO of Bell Intrigna Inc.; and CFO and Treasurer of MTS. A Chartered Accountant (CA), Ms. Barker holds a B.Sc. as well as a Certificate in Education from the University of Manitoba. |
