The Investment Committee is generally responsible for the management of the investments of PSP Investments. Among the Investment Committee's particular duties in this regard is to recommend to the Board a written statement of investment policies, standards and procedures for each Fund that PSP Investments manages and to annually review that statement and recommend changes to the Board as necessary.

The Committee also recommends to the Board investment strategies for achieving the investment objectives for each Fund PSP Investments manages and for each asset class within each Fund and monitors the application of PSP Investments' investment policies, standards and procedures

Significant among the Committee's other tasks is the approval of the engagement of external investment managers to invest the assets of the PSP Investments and ensuring that they comply with the Act and the investment policies, standards and procedures of PSP Investments.
